Editions: full management and the Ticketing & Check-in Console
Some organizers run the whole event on Moostoo — programme, networking, exhibitors, app and website. Others only need to sell tickets, print badges and open the doors. Rather than two products, Moostoo is one app shown two ways. Knowing which edition your organization is on explains why a screen from this guide is not in your sidebar, and what happens if you change edition later.

Pages of this guide that apply to only one edition say so. The whole of the console chapter is written for console organizers.
The edition belongs to the organization
- Every event of an organization is on the same edition. There is no per-event edition.
- Moostoo sets it. Contact Moostoo to move you from one edition to the other; nothing on your side needs to change.
- Switching changes no data, in either direction. Moving to the console hides screens and deletes nothing; moving back shows everything exactly as you left it.
- A screen outside your edition is refused, not just hidden. Opening its address directly shows "This screen is not part of your Moostoo", and Moostoo refuses the underlying requests too — so a hidden screen cannot be reached some other way.
The same menu, with less in it
The console's sidebar is the full sidebar with the out-of-edition items taken away: same group names, same order. A group whose every item is outside the edition disappears. That is deliberate — if your organization later moves to full management, nothing you already know moves.
The address does not decide the edition
The console can also be reached at its own address, where the sign-in screen and header say Moostoo Tickets. The address only changes the branding (and the edition a brand-new sign-up starts on); it never grants or removes a screen. A full-management organization signing in there gets the full product; a console organization signing in at the main address still gets the console.
The attendee app is the same in both editions. Console attendees still get the app — their badge, their tickets, their details — it simply has no programme or networking to show.
